this is what we have at the moment. We have L1-blue and L1-yellow from the same cable and L2-blue and L2-yellow from the other cable. Is anyone suggesting this is wrong, and if so, which way should we wire them? thanks!

thanks for your suggestion but we have put the old switches back on. Are you suggesting that there are 2 types of intermediate switch? The BS numbers on both are the same. We think it is the intermediate one that is causing the problems. One blue to L1 and one yellow to L1 and the other blue...

All weve done is replace both landing switches (1 x 2way, and 1 x intermediate) with identical switches and wired them back the same as before. But now they wont work together. Turn the light on with one, then turn the light off with the other, then trying to turn the light on again the original...
