    Gypsum Wall

    Hi I've just finished moving an electrical outlet a couple of feet on a gypsum faced wall. All is done and filled however now it's down to the gypsum :x. What is concerning me is that do I have to apply 4 layers of gypsum as was originally applied or is a single layer sufficient? Thanks...

    Computer Monitor

    Hi, I have recently been having some trouble with my computer monitor whereas when I turn it on, the display turns a 'pinky' colour. This can be rectified by tapping the top of the monitor a couple of times and walla! the display is back to normal. Any ideas on how I can fault find this...

    Repairing Limestone Wall

    Hi, I'd like to move an electrical switch about 1 metre from it's original position. The wall is made of Limestone brick and is covered with a thick layer of gypsum. The excavation and extension of the conduit shouldn't be a problem, it's filling and repairing the trench that's baffled me...

    Change the internet connection to DSL. This uses digital demodulation and does not interfere with the analogue signal you receive during a phone call (Speech)......therefore phone and internet can run simultaneously :wink: N.B - Internet fee may increase slightly (depending on ISP)

    light scratches on stainless steel

    Using Sandpaper 150 and 400 should do the trick. First start off with the 150 and lightly sand across the scratches and/or damaged area. then use the 400 to give a shiny finish. N.B : This will leave a groove in the steel so it's wise to sand paper the whole surface back to keep the same...
