Here are pictures from outside and with plaster taken off. I was going to follow roy c's advice and just Cuprinol it and fill with plasterboard. Should I be worried about anything and if i hadn't have taken the plaster off how long would it have gone untill I would have noticed a problem...

Hi guys I am getting my living room plaster boarded and have take old plaster back to the brick. When Ive taken it from about the window there was a thick layer of plaster lay on the lintel. Should I replace it with something or is it ok to leave a hollow space behind plaster board...
