you'd think: 1) the plugs would be sold with instructions. 2) the screws would be long enough to do this! I always use longer screws than those supplied with plugs just because of this!

thanks - the force is strong within you - it is 2 1/2 ft square. There are 2 screws on the back with a 9" chain - which i would like to use to hang it. Or, I could put a couple new screws further apart. should i go for 2 brown rawl plugs then?
