Thanks for the advice. What do you mean by 'Balancing' ? Is this to ensure the flow is the same in both the radiator and the towel warmer? Or does it apply to the rest of the system?

I installed an Essex flange (1in BSP) into the hot water cylinder. I then added a 1in to 22mm reducer, this has a stop preventing the 22m pipe from passing into the tank. What do I need to change? Is there a 1in reducer that allows me to pass a 22mm pipe directly into the tank?
