    Hi all We have Grant boiler It never bothered us before but i’m curious to know whether this is a fault or normal for Grant boiler central heating to stop when the hot tab is running? Also when the hot tab is off then it takes CH 5-10 mins to come back on Any suggestions much appreciated Thanks

    Have replaced plate to plate Also non return valve This sorted the pressure problem However the ch is constantly run even when the thermostat is off I haven’t touched the wiring at all and it worked fine before

    expansion vessel is pre set to 1 bar. I haven't tested the filling loop and yes, the pressure continues to to rise when boiler isn't working. sorry I don't understand the "plate to plate" bit, what do you mean by this??

    Thank you so much this worked, l had to link 25 to 26. Also switched CH button on the boiler to Timed. Also managed to disconnect the switch old thermostat now l do have 2 extra cable core. I will replace it with 3 core cable. Thanks everyone.

    So l tried it There is a link between 17 and 18 already 19 to 1 on hive And 20 to 3 But the heating doesn’t come on What am l doing wrong Also removed 25 and 26 where it says ROOM STAT so assuming that is for the thermostat
