tenner? the valve and actuator cost me £65

thanks for all your help, I'll call the plumber back

The other one had been there 20 years, I think the motor had gone but we could change it by hand, he has changed the valve body twice, might be faulty batch..........

the valve is on the left hand side

Could it be possible the valve has been fitted upside down?

The whole thing, this is the second one!

Can't move it with a pliers, does this mean the valve is faulty?

Is the valve supposed to turn by hand?

the boiler has fired up and it was running for about half an hour, the pump has started to get a lttle noisy

the pump is running, but none of the pipes are hot

none of the pipes are hot, not even to the valve

Sorry, first chance I've had to look at it all pipes are cold

Thanks for all your help yesterday, CH fired up and everything seemed ok.... Left the water on last night, pump ran all night and tank cold this morning. Any ideas......
