Revive radiators say "It is imperative that the thermostatic valve always goes on the flow and is the same side as the blank. " Has anyone fitted these and will it cause any damage if it is not fitted "correctly"? The rads do heat up.

Have a dilemma with some poor installation of a fascia - as you can see from the photo below, a soffit was not put in (as per the plans). We are getting the wall rendered soon - do I need to get a small soffit installed or just pack out the fascia so it is sitting in front of the wall? Or am I...
