Ok, firstly thanks to all those who posted a response - greatly appreciated. I called in British Gas as suggested by a fellow post member and after a couple of hours they thought that it was a faulty diverter. After they found and replaced my diverter with a new one, it still didn't work...

Ok, have done - I'll be sure to post up what the problem was when it's been repaired. I guess I wanted to try to fix it myself as opposed to paying someone to do it. Oh well, worth a try :)

I had a look, but the only button on the panel was the reset button...

To be honest I don't know how to check these things - I turned the thermostat dial and a red light went on on a box on the wall (not on the boiler itself). I set all of the switches to the opposite position and flicked the switch onto timed, but still no luck as far as the CH is concerned...

No, the only thing that is illuminated (green) is the 'Mains Light'. Nothing is red or flashing either...

Just went to turn the Central Heating on the other day, and nothing. Hot water is fine, but no CH. On the boiler control panel, the 'Mains Light' is green but nothing else is showing any colours/flashing. Any ideas? I'm not very technical but don't want to shell out the £££'s for a...
