    so i will be changing mcb to 20amp? put the new cooker control unit on (45amp dp and socket )? connect oven to 20amp flex outlet ? then flex outlet to cooker control unit ? using 2.5m heat resistant flex in both cases ?

    hi so the size of the cable to the oven so like its says a 2.5mm flex whould do for 20amp?

    NO DONT THINK ITS THAT OLD WILL MAKE A NOTE ON THE BREAKER DO YOU KNOW WHERE THESE CAN BE BOUGHT B&Q PERHAPS

    I THINK IT MIGHT BE EASIER TO CHANGE THE BREAKER IN THE FUSEBOX TO A 20A THE FUSE BOX IS A CRABTREE 6000 DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A NEW BREAKER

    hi john ideally i dont want the oven or hob plugged (normal plug) in to a socket plus ive have bought a new cooker unit 45amp so looks like i will not need it uless i change the fuse ampage in the fuse box?
