Hi all We have a heated towel rail that did work but has suddenly stopped heating up. We have tried bleeding it to no avail. We have been trying to check whether the valve has seized up but can't find the valve? Have taken the chrome caps off but can't find the spindle? Can anyone help? See...

So it's just the valve head broken not the spindle you think? Many thanks for the advice Do I need to turn the radiator valve off on the other side of the radiator before attempting to change the TRV valve?

The TRV head has snapped off our radiator, I have seen how to replace the head on YouTube etc but not sure whether the metal spindle is also broken Can anyone assist? Will the radiator leak when the heating is on? If so how do I stop it as a temporary fix? Many thanks, see pictures

Hi we have a very old seldom used Mira 7.5kw electric shower, (we use our other mains shower instead) this morning the shower started leaking out the box, turned the water and electric supply off and took cover off (see pictures) the bracket has cracked and water leaking from the pipe joint...

Just a couple more questions, in manual mode can I run the hot water at the same time as the heating? Do I keep it in manual mode or need to switch it back? Will the heating only work while the hot water tank is full? If so what do I do to trigger refilling the tank? Sorry for all the questions...

Yes I have also tried resetting boiler switching on off etc

So I move the slider slightly to the right to manual not all the way where it says overide only? So this will only work if I'm running the hot water?

Photos of our existing valve, is there anything simple I can do myself to diagnose the problem?
