Thanks for prompt reply boilerman 2. Yes have tanks in the loft. Did check main header tank earlier and ball valve appeared to be working ok. How do I check if pump is running and how do I purge an airlock? Thanks n

had a leaking radiator which led to loss of some water whilst repairing. The boiler - Potterton Profile 40e was working fine previously but now fires up and starts then cuts out. Its pumped not gravity fed. I have reset the cut out but happens again. Have I done something with water pressure...
