    Hitachi DV18DVC Cordless drill - battery question

    I have a Hitachi DV18DVC Cordless drill which came with three NiCd batteries. The drill is running fine, but the batteries don't hold a charge well anymore. Can I use lithium ion batteries with this drill or am I stuck with NiCd?

    Thanks for that info. Can they be used so that the extractor fan will still continue to run for the preset time after the PIR unit has sitched off the light? How should this be wired? If I take a switched live from the PIR to both the fan and the light, How will the fan continue to run after...
