    Brand new heating system

OK turned all the TRV valves to zero upstairs and the 2 problem downstairs rads were boiling at the top and warm at the bottom . I noticed the bathroom and en suite towel rails were still hot even when they were turned to zero. Think this system has been plumbed in by Ronald Mcdonald.

    Brand new heating system

Worst thing about all this was, we asked him for his advice about the room size and what size rads we should get and and he said it would greatly improve the heating of the house. I've got friends on the estate who've had new systems in and haven't had any bother at all. Suppose its just my luck...

Correct mate, the fitter has had 2 goes at balancing the system but it is still not achieving the heat what I'd expect to come from each radiator ( I don't really want to mess on with it incase he refuses to touch it after me ). Some absolute mad hot where I can't hardly touch them and some...

Hello Harry, Payed cash mate. I got the the work done while I was away on holiday and just payed up when I came back. Brand new heating system

Thanks for the reply, Im starting to feel like a bit of an idiot, as I would have expected the fitter to know all of the requirements needed when installing the system. I hope I haven’t been taken for a ride and the system is never going to run correctly. I am away till next week but I will...

    Brand new heating system

I'm no professional but that's exactly what I thought. The house is concrete floor downstairs, so I think what you maybe suggesting about the pipe work coming from upstairs will be correct. It's just frustrating the life out of me. If it hadn't been for some rooms being cold and poor hot water...

    Brand new heating system

Hello mate, The house has one main bathroom and an en-suite in our bedroom. As for the combi I'm sure it's a 30Kw They mostly used the existing pipe work but moved the combi from the kitchen to the utility room ( only moved to the other side of wall where it was situated originally ). Your right...

Cheers for that mate. Would the power flush not have dislodged anything stuck in the pipes or do you mean the pipe may be kinked somewhere. Thanks
