Cheers. Thanks for the advice guys. FYI. I have got cable/pipe protectors. i.e. small metel plates with spikes which get hammered into the beam above the cables and pipes to protect them for someone nailing through them! Good investement.

Hi, Been running cable for some new sockets so have had a few floorboards up upstairs. They seem to be the T&G type so managed to "pop" the middle ones up by leavering. Now I have bits hanging off the edges and can't get them down tight. Should I just get a saw and trim the edge off and...
