Thanks for all your help. Swapped the Hive and Nest so my Hive TRV’s are now working with the Hive thermostat. I did a silly think and not switch the power off when I was putting the Hive wall plate back on, thought I would be able to do it carefully…. Had a little shock…..

When I tried to thread the trv onto the adaptor it didn’t seems to go on easily, like something was stopping it. So thought it was perhaps the adaptor being wrong for the valve.

Hey I just got some Hive TRV’s and realise my current valve is a Caleffi, can anyone confirm this and does anyone know where I can get adaptors from?

Then the same cabling for the Heatlink where the Hive was? @RandomGrinch so I disconnect the brown and blue cable that goes into the T1 and T2?

This is the heat link, so would the Hive go: Blue to N Brown to L then L to 2 Then that other brown looking cable to 3 For the thermostat at the end I just keep them unplugged?

Hello Yes, it is wired from the thermostat to the heatlink. I have a stand for it to go in. I will try and snap a photo of the Heatlink this evening. Thank you all for your help!

OK, so now looking at the Hive more and buying Hive TRV's, I realise that the Hive should be on the MAIN heating (radiators). I can then use HOD (Heat On Demand), so could keep our hallway at 18oC then other rooms hotter if needed, without the whole house warming up. Would swapping the Nest and...

Stupid question, but how to you run the cable to the back of the receiver? There is nowhere for the cable to run up.

If the PCB blew, is it a write off or needing an expert to fix it? It’s one of them things where it’s 99% going to work but always that doubt

What’s the worst that could happen? Blow the boiler? Or would it just not work?
