Swapped the Hive and Nest so my Hive TRV’s are now working with the Hive thermostat.
I did a silly think and not switch the power off when I was putting the Hive wall plate back on, thought I would be able to do it carefully….
Had a little shock…..
When I tried to thread the trv onto the adaptor it didn’t seems to go on easily, like something was stopping it. So thought it was perhaps the adaptor being wrong for the valve.
This is the heat link, so would the Hive go:
Blue to N
Brown to L then L to 2
Then that other brown looking cable to 3
For the thermostat at the end I just keep them unplugged?

Yes, it is wired from the thermostat to the heatlink. I have a stand for it to go in.
I will try and snap a photo of the Heatlink this evening.

OK, so now looking at the Hive more and buying Hive TRV's, I realise that the Hive should be on the MAIN heating (radiators). I can then use HOD (Heat On Demand), so could keep our hallway at 18oC then other rooms hotter if needed, without the whole house warming up.
