It took the ford dealers at Hartlepool two days to fix it. They say it was a fuel leak and charged £105 all in. I still think it may have just been a air lock in the system but for what the pump would have cost i'm happy to have the car back on the road. Thanks for all the input guys.

So i just heard back from kwikfit (they've had the car for 2 weeks) i say i heard back from them, what i mean is i had to call them a few times to get any sort of info out of them. They now say its the high pressure fuel pump which they refuse to touch as they say its too difficult for them...

I had no problems before Kwikfit. After it started I took it to a ford garage and they ran the diagnostic computer check. Ids check/no stored codes. Fuel system pressure check/ ok. Leak back test/ ok. I normally have over have tank of fuel and the problem is still there.

Hi, i hope someone can help, my focus starts then cuts out when left facing uphill. I recently had a service from kwickfit, the replaced the fuel filter and had a job to start it after, it was ok for a week or so then the problem, started. does anyone have or has had a simular problem?
