That is a true point but you say when you feel resistant ,what happened if you feel it then goes easy again and then does the same thing again down the thread again . Sorry if I go on as you practically answered my question but this one has always got me confused .
So your saying all the threads would be damaged from the point it starts resisting if you were to do it up by ratchet no matter where it starts resisting on the thread like when you start to feel. Is this because the threads are misaligned with the internal thread (female)
Quick Question if the bolt was halfway or when the bolt has gone down a few threads and it starts to cross thread (starting to bind get stiffer ) will all the threads from the point of resistant start to strip if you were to continue with a ratchet if so why and not just one of the threads on...
