Hah! Figured it out myself from an old post on this forum: held the start button in for about ten seconds, and it apparently re-set itself and now works fine. Thanks, forum!

When the door is shut and the cycle dial is set, the start light just continually blinks. Pushing the start button does nothing. Ideas?
