    hi coljack, fair comment, sort of.... the official line, as you know is to put the 450mm in on the bottom of the former and bend it upwards :shock: on friday, as i said earlier, i am doing some pre AM2 thingies with a young lad....he has to install a piece of pipe with one set and two bends...

    hi coljack.... set square measurment with measured part put into machine is the way to go... all those marks on the former are because you have the measured bit sticking out and it stretches by different amounts depending on the pipe wall thickness i reckon 1 out of 30 do it correctly...

    on friday , i am doing a "pre AM2" tutorial with a student at my local college. in the AM2 you have to install a single piece of tube with one set and two 90 degree bends between a trunking and light with pre drilled holes and fixed saddles ...... the kid gets the secret on friday...... 8)
