Hi I have just come across your post, I am currently in the process of changing the same gravity system to a Y plan, how did you get on in the end with the change?
So having looked further around the house turns out I don't any valves at all only a pump on my heating system. What would be my best and cheapest option to operate my central heating and hot water separately?
I know this is an old post but i have just stumbled across it.
i also have the same gravity hot water system, is it possible to fit a motorised valve to make it a Y,S or W system?
