Agile, His voice mail recording explained he was on holiday, and he's back next week. I've spoken to the guy once before, and I have faith in him. I think you're theory is a bit far fetched. I think you might also be pulling my leg. I agree with you on one thing, it won't take WB much to...

Bunnyman, I thought this years visit was short because all of the other years they spent around 45 minutes doing checks on my boiler. Their own manager agreed that I hadn't got the proper amount of work done this time. That's why he rescheduled another visit. I think they really are doing...

Nickso, When I say Mr Angry here's what I actually posted on their online system: "The service visit was completed this morning. My father attended on my behalf. Having since spoken to my father it turns out the whole service took about 10 minutes and no report was left by your...

I live in a hard water area. I suspect that's what lead to the demise of the first hex. Every few days water would be found beneath the boiler and inside of the flap that hides to controls. At this time the boiler was about 6 years old. WB visited about 3 times, trying to suss the cause. At...

Boilerdoktor, okay, your advice is noted. But do WB still sell heat exchangers for this boiler? In the last few yeas their technician has started dropping hints about parts availability on my ageing boiler and how i might want to save up for a new one.

Boilerdoktor, I had no faults at the time of the visit. But then I didn't for most of the other visits where the Technician worked for about 45 minutes. You are right the contract is an annual service, plus free parts and labour for repairs. Do you think a 15yr old Greenstar, with a...

gasguru, I've witnessed WB servicing my boiler many times before. They normally take around 45 minutes. In light of what you've posted that seems like a reasonable amount of checks and tests. This time they've definitely taken short cuts. For the money I'm paying i don't think that is...

Hi, I've had an annual service contract with Worcester Bosch (WB) for 10 years. I've got a Greenstar ZWBR 7-25. In March 2013 their Service Technician spent no more than 20 minutes inside of my home carrying out a full annual service. My father attended the service, as I was at work. When...
