Thanks that’s great. Yes, the pipe is only 20mm below the floor level, so I will fix a metal plate along the length flush to the floor ( making sure it doesn’t touch the pipe. Thanks for the reply.

Hi, My Smeg dishwasher has an Aquastop error. Sure enough the base fills with water after every 10 to 20 washes. The problem is I can't find the leak. Is there anywhere "common" to these dishwashers where I should concentrate my search as it isn't very obvious? Regards Paul.
