Thanks for the replies. I suppose I could use the switch on the FCU but have bought the pull cord fan already. As for using the lighting circuit,I can’t get at it.

Hi all. I need to wire in a wall mounted extractor fan and was hoping to use the ring main supplying my utility room sockets to supply the power. My question is can I put a 13A switched FCU into the ring and then spur off it to a 4” extractor fan with a pull switch. All advice greatly appreciated.
