Had an rgi around,the problem is a faulty gas valve and in need of a service

not been serviced recently.whats rgi?

the central heating demand and hot water demand indicator are lit up.The fan operation indicator comes on and the fan comes on briefly,then the burner lock out comes on

I cant get my boiler to ignite.when there is a demand for hot water or heating,the boiler does not illuminate the ignition indicator .then the burner lock out indicator is illuminated.i have tryed to turn the control to the reset position but it will still not work. any ideas?
