12 5ah batterys charging at more than an amp i feel would do damage to them over time. but eaton say in the docs its an amp so

i know that but that is not my point i will not be drawing a 20 amp load it will be like 7 amps maybe 8 if the batterys are charging

it wouldnt be hard to swap the wire im more just talking logically it makes more sense to swap the commando with a 16amp than try to put a 13amp plug on it in my head atleast

well whats your logic for having it on a 13amp plug then instead of the commando thats there?

id ideally just like to be able to use the ups the 16amp commando is there it wouldnt be hard to swap the 32amp on the cable to a 16 for now so why would i swap to the commando on the wall to some 13amp plugs?

Low load, on a high amp circuit (Ed.)

thats not really my point and its in the garage so its more useful than youd think

Low load, on a high amp circuit (Ed.)

well itd be ideal keeping it over running 6.5m cable for a small load and the commandos there so why not use it / use the 2.5m feeding it?

Low load, on a high amp circuit (Ed.)

i’m not clinging onto it as of such just it’s there so it might aswell be used if i can actually power the ups with it / just wire in direct

Low load, on a high amp circuit (Ed.)

at that point why would i not just put the 2.5m directly into the ups
  11. P

Low load, on a high amp circuit (Ed.)

i dont really need it now its just it happens to be in the place where i want the ups to be
  12. P

Low load, on a high amp circuit (Ed.)

ideally it would be best the 2.5m is already in the commando now yes i could just wire directly in but its still 2.5m so i might aswell leave it on the commando and IDEALLY i dont want to run 6.5m but it would be possible if i have to.

the commando was there for a small mig welder

Low load, on a high amp circuit (Ed.)

from what i can tell it’s a slow charge so i really doubt it’s going to be alot manual says an amp so

the charging current is around an amp 1.5 amps at best so i really do not see a problem
