done some digging and i now believe that it is a suppressor. anyhow tried the machine yesterday and it is working, for how long i do not know. is there a way of testing a suppressor?

machine trips mcb when plugged into mains and switched on-trip goes straight away does not even start. machine is 1.1 yrs old, have taken top off, wires from plug connect to a white (i believe a capacitor???). found out through trial and error that when i disconnect all wires from capacitor...
