On a recent change of Gas Engineer my Aga was condemned as there seems to be a plate missing from the outside balanced flue. The engineer is not experienced with Agas and cannot go further with any advice or supply of parts. Can anyone recommend a Gas Aga engineer in the Huntingdon Cambs area...

Thanks again for the support. If an auto bypass replaces the current gate vale there would be a bypass loop of over 12 metres. Hopefully this would be enough? I'm waiting now for a heating engineer to meet me at the property then it'll be clearer what is and what can be configured. Cheers

Currently the auto bypass is wound fully out and the old bypass is open too. Flow arrow is correct.

Yesterday I opened the old bypass close to fully open. Boiler has overheated twice. Any ideas what I do now? I have two thermocouple meters so can monitor other points in system.
