Thanks, I've had a good look but can't see anything that looks like a re-set button.Things must have got very hot in there though as I can still smell burning and it's not worked since early this morning. The pilot light has now gone out and the ignition switch isn't working either ! Thanks...

Thanks for the reply.The boiler is a VCW T3W, I don't have a manual only a leaflet with diagrams identifying the various parts.

I have an old Vaillant bolier [about 15 yrs old] that has until today been reliable and trouble free.This morning the radiators get very very hot, I turned the boiler off at the timer but now it won't start.I've checked fuses and the wired in the timer but all seem ok.The pilot light is on but...
