Could I also add I know you said put the multimeter away but I'd tested the pump conection to pcb so power turned on the brown wire that goes to pump which is pin 6 on the a4 plug is 0 volts the one under it is the power from switch which showing 240v now please correct me if I'm wrong but is...

A pcb I didn't really this was advice from gas boiler man so you tend to listen to the guy so what's the problem you think is it worth fixing
