Hi chris, I dont know if it can be replaced but the problem is it may wear through the base plate or crack it... if you dont have any sucess on replacing it give me a shout as I think I have a complete motor for teh BSA hotspur

Hi just to let you know i ran a BSA Hotspur for years and also when the glass broke I simply placed a metal plate over the glass on the outside and a bar between the two retaining studs. Then it can be removed from the front and look through the cracked glass if need to see the flame. It worked...
