Thanks for your replies. It looks like the bloody thing is packing up for good so I have had to call out for someone to service it. Thanks again.

No nothing happens at all, there's a faint clicking sound but apart from that nothing.

Can anyone help? My pilot light has gone out and it will not relight when I follow the instructions on the boiler. What do I need to do? It's too cold and I need a bath! Any help gratefully received.
