Hi all, I would like to replace my current timer and thermostat with the Hive heating and hot water. My current timer is a Landis and Staeffa, boiler is a potterton netaheat ( very old) with a thermostat in the hall. Wiring the hive seems straight forward as connections seem the same...

No I don't. Maybe it's time I just get a pro in to sort it out and hide my face in shame. The one thing that puzzled me was that the bathroom rads came on this morning as they usually do when the hot water is on.

I still can't get the hot water to come on. Do I need to make any changes in the Honeywell centre ? Or have I damaged something?

The wire in terminal 3 looked fine. I adjusted a blue knob which looked like a thermostat of some kind but didn't do anything.

Does anyone know why the hot water doesn't come on? The light on the hub comes on.

I figured it out. Boiler came on when the heating was pressed. Didn't come on when i pressed it for the hot water

I thought u said disconnect them?

I disconnected the room stat. And joined terminals in the hive?

So only disconnect the room stat? And link terminals 1and 3?

Apologies, no i haven't disconnected the cylinder stat. Should that be removed then? As well as the room stat?

So have removed the thermostat( see attached) and connected up like below. I pressed the hot water button or the heating button but the boiler doesn't fire up. Did I do something wrong ? Blue=N Brown=L Black=3 Grey=4 Yellow/green= Earth
