The test was all clear and below the clearance indicator. Sampled 960 litres of air and was clear. Basically they found 20 reportable fibers over that time in the filter which I have been told can be various fibers. So out of 960 litres of air only 20 were counted that would be classed as...

As in bath panels were asbestos cement type and not AIB ?

Hearing Different versions here. Were asbestos bath panels cement?! I have been told by some that they were only cement and would not be AIB, yet if you search the net apparently AIB was also used for this ?! Thanks Paul

Yes , there used to be a back boiler but that is removed and it's blocked off downstairs. I am just curious as to why and what the purpose of this access panel is. There was never a fireplace upstairs. 1950 property. See attached pic and what you think it is?

Nothing on top of Chimney. Fireplace downstairs is blocked off. No fireplace upstairs but part of wall is like a panel floor to ceiling in chimney . Why would this be needed? What was the purpose? Access to the chimney?

What are the soft fibrous types? The only reason is I have heard that asbestos board has been used and found before acting as bath panels (search google) and you can See images etc. How do you tell the difference between AIB and cement as both contain it right?

The panel whatever it was (likely wood) was removed in 2010. My point is as this is 1950s property would it be worth getting air tested to check asbestos fiber levels from anything that may have been removed once? If any was. Or am I being paranoid? Would an air test show me the air is fine...

No, there is no further asbestos issues in the house. It's a case I am worrying about what 'could' have been there and not removed properly hence thinking an air test would be the only way to tell?! Or again totally pointless after all this time ?! Would it prove nothing?! Thanks for al...
