dont know if you have sorted it i know it was a while ago but the part you need is the main pcb part no.130331 about £112 just done mine and got the part from ebay for £50 works fine now

sorted :D it was the main pcb just changed it and all works fine

thats the thing none of mine are under the windows seems to take forever to heat the full room

funny question is it better to have radiators under the window rather than next to the door its just when im sat next to the window i feel cold

what is the make of the boiler on mine the label is located on the bottom of the burner

hi kev i see you have a manual for the boiler is there any chance you can send it to my email [email protected]

all the wiring is correctly installed i took off the timer and the boiler still runs when CH button is pressed

the make/model Vaillant VCW GB 242 EH the problem i had a standard timer switch fitted with the boiler controls ie. off timer 1 timer 2 and constant positions about 6 month ago i put the controls to the off position and the CH wouldn't shutdown so to shut it down i have to press the hotwater...
