Thanks for the reply. It's only just started doing this, though. The identical one in the other bathroom doesn't appear to be drawing current. Or at least it's not humming and getting warm. I guess I need to buy a new, better, one? Cheers Phil

Apologies for reviving an old thread. I use a shave socket for charging a toothbrush. I've noticed recently that the socket buzzes and gets warm even when the charger isn't plugged in. All the time, in fact. Anyone know why this should be? Thanks Phil PS. I'm not French ;)
