Are small businesses fit to supply adequate security...?

If we're rounding this up, I'd like to share this which I found. It silenced a few small security services doubters in UKBF! http://www.acclaimed-security.com/2013/11/security-secrets-importance-local-knowledge-2/

Anyone have any advice on the PoS? Should I put it in a fresh post?

    Competitors - what to do

Thanks, great advice and very to the point! I think often small firms are more 'personable' than bigger ones for the reason that they can't afford to and don't really need to employ pushy salespeople. Similarly, local firms (myself included) are often my knowledgeable as they haven't walked...

    Competitors - what to do

Great tips, thanks! I've decided to do a big re-vamp. Spruce up the whole place and get some new rules in the joint (fight club style!). I think the whole thing was getting me down too much and I was being miserable because..well...I was miserable! I also chat to people on (edit: UK...

    Worth getting manned guarding/CCTV?

Ahh no worries, always good to be busy!! I went for the upgrade with the original firm Acclaimed security in the end as they seem decent enough think they're at http://www.acclaimed-security.com Reckon it's for the best that we went for the extras, hopefully be safe and sound now! Donny might...

Are small businesses fit to supply adequate security...?

We've just recently switched from a big company to a small one, that was my interest in the post in the first place. I think it gives you a bit of pride going for a small company as well, especially a local one. Tough times for everyone so good to give a little something back.

Are small businesses fit to supply adequate security...?

That was my first thought - that you'd get quicker response times when needed if you used a smaller firm. I think I'd rather take a recommendation of a smaller company who's been around an age, than a big firm who are primarily out to hit targets (probably). Obviously everyone wants to make cash...

Is this a decent price for a Complete Bathroom Refurb

It just seems like a sloppy way to operate (no offence intended) if you can't trace everything you've done back. I run a business and every transaction we make has to be recorded and accounted for (granted a computer programme does it and not me). I think it should be the same no matter what job...

Is this a decent price for a Complete Bathroom Refurb

Regardless of whether it seems a 'fair' price for the work done, or not I would say that adding that amount onto the bill at the end is a little underhand and not what you would expect from a family friend. You're right to question this and I would personally ask him for a thorough breakdown of...

Hello! Sorry I haven't been back, I thought you always got notifications for replies and I haven't had any. Just checked back and have seen all of these - sorry for not responding sooner. I have a merchants' business. I can assure you that I have had more than 6 weeks' experience! My basic...
