Thanks to all for help. Boiler now fixed, needed new pcb ignition panel.

Boiler usually fires up once cover off, however, today it hesitated to ignite when cover off, once cover replaced it did fire up ...talk about temperamental!

Thanks, so you would think but allegedly all connections have been checked! Is there a connection in the panel or to the panel, as far as I am aware it can be lifted off. Thanks Pipski

Hi I have an Alpha combi boiler 240 or 280 and it is intermittently failing to ignite when either heating or hot water switched on. When the front panel is removed and then replaced the problem rights itself. We have had two plumbers so far look at it and fail to find the fault. Any suggestions...
