Had a similar problem with daughter Ka,turned out common fault air control valve fitted to carb system, they get bunged up.£40 or so from ford easy to fit. Ka also had problem of cutting out due to air fuel mix inncorrect.

My boiler is making loud banging noises, the noises are from the boiler itself,which is a Glow worm fuelsaver 40-50. The boiler is 20years or so old,I am having people to quote to renew. Before I take this step is there a known fault that would cause boiler to make banginging noises...
