Well the "new" taps were installed about 5 years ago. I dismantled the hot section of the mixer (a ROCA) , but cannot get at the stem out to access the inlet pipe. I'm considering taking the unit off the bath.

The hot water comes out of the bath mixer tap/shower slowly - 20+ secs/litre compared to 8secs/litre from the hot tap in the basin. Both come from the same pipe from the hot water tank. I guess there is a branch somewhere under the floorboards to split the flow. The taps can be isolated...

Answered my own question! I good poke with a scewdriver on the logo moved it and revealed a screw. Now to remove the cartridge.

Do the tops of Roca bath taps just pull off, or is there a screw hidden under the logo and red/blue insert in the centre of the top?

It is slow out of the tap, and slower from the shower - but that must be due to the extra height. The hose is a standard one from Homebase, 1.75m long. Externally it is about 17mm in diameter. Squinting down the hole doesn't give me an accurate internal diameter.

The hot water flow has become very slow from the Roca mixer bath tap and shower. The only recent change is replacement of the hose from the mixer unit to the shower head. There were several days between removing the old hose and replacing it. All other hot water taps are OK. Is this an...
