Nothing like answering my own questions, is there?! More research on the net has revealed that the Drayton equivalent part no for the actuator is 27653, for use with a Drayton ZA6/779- 2 zone valve.

Should the lever move easily? Seems pretty tight (sprung?) and reluctant to do more than move a few millimetres. Nothing to break if I give it a bean or two?
