Evening, The door glass gets warmish, does this discount heater or is the machine waiting to get to a certain temp before it can move on? Pod

my machine is stopping at a certain point during a program, eg 40 deg wash it stops with 36 minutes to go, 90 deg wash it stops with 127 minutes to go, in each case the machine eventually moves on to complete program some hours later, any ideas? (machine & washing also smell awful!!)
