My point is that is the timer clock is in Auto mode, then the heating should stop working at the set off time. Do I take it from your response that if the stat is set it will overide the timer clock?

I have a Sabre 24 combi boiler fitted with an external room stat. All works fine in manual mode but if I switch the timer clock to Auto and set the room stat the heating never turns off until the room stat temperature is reached. Is this normal? If not can anyone offer a solution to my...
