I have the above boiler and the pressure is low, below what it should be operating at. I have traced a leak and repaired it. How do I go about repressurising the system?

I am thinking of using brass valves on a cast iron radiator and sealing the joints with PTFE tape. Is this the best method, I've only installed 'normal' radiators and valves before.
