Boiler iq device, where is it and TF1 serviceability?

Thanks, that's a good idea for sure. However I doubt on the next service by BG they would have such a sensible approach in the 6 mins they get allocated:D. Gas analyser check I'm off....

Boiler iq device, where is it and TF1 serviceability?

A valid comment but no that was not the case but I think I know where you are going.... Let me go no futher than saying I was not happy they followed this route in the first place and advised against it, on the basis of better value would have been had with my own independent Valliant...

Boiler iq device, where is it and TF1 serviceability?

Relative of mine had a Bosch Greenstar 30 installed by BG earlier in the year. Reading some of the paperwork I noted it mentioned Boiler iq and a cost associated with it. Lowering the front cover I don't see an additional box on the front. How would I know if it has been installed on this...

Vaillant VRC470 wireless outdoor sensor faulty - use Glowworm sensor?

Hi Firstly, My sensor is failed and I am need of a replacement unit. So far I have found its around £180 for this unit on its own! Its an NTC sensor with a radio transmitter and a small solar panel hardly a fortune to produce. I have seen online that glow worm (owned by Vaillant) use the...

    Vaillant 831 ecotec plus

Pete1976, Just a small correction in case users are searching forums. The 470F does work on older 831's. I have just put one on mine (installed in March 2010) to replace an honeywell unit that caused short cycling. Works just fine :D, but you do need a degree in reading the installation...

    Vaillant Expert/Installer Question Weather Compensator.

I'm not looking for payback on a new controller, just more overall efficiency and the Vaillant would be the best option irrespective of the cost now.

    Vaillant Expert/Installer Question Weather Compensator.

Tony Thanks for your reply, I see RF (should have thought of that!), that clears that up. I totally agree with your comments. In retrospect, had I being a little more informed at the time of installation I would have got the WC unit. My 927 has been playing up, it eats batteries every...

    Vaillant Expert/Installer Question Weather Compensator.

Thanks for replies ALEC1, with regard to the "RF version" which one is that, cant seem to find that model only the VRC 470 and the 470f which is the wireless one. I note that the Vaillant site also says the outside reciever is solar powered, so no cables to it are required. the only...

    Vaillant Expert/Installer Question Weather Compensator.

I had an 831 combi installed in early 2010. Very pleased with it I have to say I have been considering whether or not to get a weather compensation installed to replace my current Honeywell wireless CM927 thermostat. The house is 1930's mid terrace, with loft conversion, double glazed and...
