Hello Sollie, If your looking for something really small I would recommend a Dremel. They last forever and obviously do more than sand. ;)

Hello VeeDee, You are on the right track. Just make sure there is no contaminates (Dust water and general crap) on the surface. I would recommend doing a few boards at a time them leaving it and doing some more. That's just my personal opinion. :)

Hello OysterMan As regards to the preserving of the wood I would recommend Creocote, very similair to the old Creosote but not poisonous. Whack this stuff on and you will never have any rot if you do it right. Here is the link -...

Trevor Bayliss, Cut or chisel it square and use a bit of timber to put in the slot. If not possible plain a bit of wood and Gorilla Glue it in place. Use a wee bit of filler in the gaps and plain it square to the existing frame. Not forgetting to put a dab of paint on to stop it rotting again ;)

Not worth trying. If you are that bothered about it being single glazed get a new one ( not being funny :) ) Just cut all the rot out, replace like for like, scrape old paint off, re-putty windows and clean the glass really thoroughly. Hope this helps. Drop us a THANKS if this helped please.

Hi all. Sorry if this is a daft question but i need to know if a free-sat box or something similar can pick up TV signal without a composite cable plugged in. I am currently living with my grandparents and they do not have a cable connection socket. Many Thanks. PYE P75A.
