Apologies for the late response, I've been away. Its a 2 storey mid terrace property. The toilet is on the first floor with the bathroom directly above on the 2nd floor. The soil stack runs down the middle of the house along the party wall.
The dangling cable is on the wrong side of the sockets in the kitchen (it would have to cross over the hob to be connected) and is nowhere near the required lenght.

Moved into a house recently with a newish kitchen installed, however the cooker hood is not connected. The hood is in place but there is a wire dangling halfway down the lenght of it towards the hob. How do I connect it to get it working?
Any suggestions then :?:
I initially thought of installing an extractor fan, connecting and running a duct through the bedroom adjacent and venting it through the external wall, but it sounds like a pretty expensive venture.
