Advice on heating repair, new tank.

Boiler is dependant on many things in the system design, controls, condense waste, flue termination, wiring back at the boiler, gas pipe size. Very hard to give a solid figure but work on 2k and this will give you a very good budget with a top A rated boiler. Location is also a factor as labour...

indeed I would budget for that to be replaced as 15/16 years is good for a boiler now.

Advice on heating repair, new tank.

Ok the red vessel is for the heating system and is an expansion vessel. Personally I would never advise customers to swap over to a Combi unless space is premium and you know the pros and cons. To fit the tank you need to have the correct qualification for unvented cylinders. size wise is...

    Super quilt & PIR board

it’s accessible via an existing staircase built when the house was built. It’s a large room which I’m possibly looking to convert into 2 bedrooms, hence why I want to get the best insulation properties I can but just trying to think of the best way around this. Hence the original superquilt and...

    Super quilt & PIR board

building regs not involved just trying to insulate as much as possible in the best way, cost being a factor but not causing issues elsewhere.
