The white square panel under my receiver is the cover. I took it off to switch it off, didn't put it back on!

Well since moving the thermostat closer to the receiver and removing the receiver cover, it's turning off the heating now

I turn the heating off on the boiler, turn it on again and use the thermostat set the heating. It sounds about rite for my backwards house!! I'll try changing the setting like U said. Can I buy any make of thermostat or Does it have to be salus again?

The thermostat has been in the same place for 12 years. When I reset it it was 2 foot away from the receiver for a few hours. The heating only comes on when I turn the thermostat up.

The heating comes on when the thermostat is used but won't turn off! I turn the heating down on the boiler to turn it off! The heating went off when I switched the receiver off

Hello, can anyone help me please. I've recently had a plumber out to look at my boiler, he told me my thermostat had lost contact with the receiver so he reset it, but it still won't turn off the heating!! I've reset it again today still not working. Any help would be great. Thanks.
