Thank you JobAndKnock, I’m learning lots of things today! The boards are currently taped together, smooth side up, as a temporary dance floor for the little one to practice ballet and jazz during lockdown. They seem quite hardwearing!!

Thanks for your reply. They have “Royal Board - made in Sweden” stamped on the back of them. Someone I know thought they might have been used for furniture making back the day. But as you say - best not to bodge!
